New Post: AudioPlayback Demo's play's respond

Hello,

I have downloaded the NAudio Demo, and I noticed a slight delay in the AudioPlayback Demo playback's respond on MP3 files, meaning, when I click on PLAY, 3 min MP3 files take close to a second to start playing, whereas 3 min WAV files start playing a lot faster, perhaps a buffer?, or is the Mp3FileReader decompressing the mp3 files before playing them?.

Just an additional note, I tested all Plugins in the AudioPlayback demo and they all seem to respond the same way. MP3 files seem to take just a bit longer to actually play the audio than wav files.

I'm currently using the DirectSound plugin with a latency of 50ms.

Does anyone know why is this? or how to adjust it?
